The Ascento robot in the internal Version ZORA is one of the first two legged wheeled self balancing robot on the market.

After a few videos from the beginning at the ETH Zurich 2018, which went viral and hit a few million views, the Team has received a lot of request from different fields like research & education, last mile delivery and security. Out of which the security business is the most interesting one, with the biggest potential. scent’s security patrolling robots are currently deployed on large industrial sites and perform repetitive tasks like perimeter checks, sending alerts to human security guards when needed. 

Ascento Guard’s design is just the beginning for the company. “We are seeing multiple opportunities of how we can complement our robot to offer an indoor, aerial, application integration of our technology,” Alessandro Morra (CEO @ Ascento AG) said – on Techcrunch from 12th of Sept. 2023
